Sacramento New Years Eve Blast

Our NYE party as the Hilton Hotel was a huge success. As always, we had a great crowd. Sacramento Area Party goers seemed to be in an especially good mood as they look forward to 2010.

Mercy Me! (Band) did a great job of playing R&B and Funk hit tunes while the Groove Thang kept party goers rocking with variety of old school hits from the 80's and 90's.

Photographer De'Boraha from Flash Foto was exhausted (but happy) from working all night long taking photos and printing them on the spot.

DJ Ron Davis had a packed dance floor in the DJ room. Signs help people find the room (which was down the hall past the hotel restaurant),

Magician Robert Kowaleski entertained the crowd and helped to create a "line party" as people checked into the party.

The casino gaming area was very crowded and people enjoyed played craps and black jack for prizes. This year everyone who turned in chips got raffle tickets. Those had the best scores got more raffle tickets. Winners were posted on a board in the casino gaming room.

This year each party goer got 2 drinks tickets which could be used for food or drinks. One drink ticket could get you a well-drink from the bar (liked a screw-driver, bloody-mary, and so on) or a soft drink or cup of coffee. One complaint was that coffee was too expensive since one drink ticket could only get you one cup of coffee. We'll look into this for next yar and see if what can be done.

Restaurant. The restaurant, which in some previous years was closed early, stayed open and was enjoyed by those who wanted something for substantial besides a snack.

Psychic. This year a psychic was available for those who wanted to learn their future for the coming year.
